They can't have more than one potion, even if they are from different cauldrons, either. I don't know the specifics of the Twins fight, but unless everyone needs one, and only one potion during the fight, or everyone can gather up and grab another potion from a fresh cauldron every couple of minutes during the fight, a cauldron really doesn't make sense anywhere.
