Fireworks, ground flowers, and sparklers!

Happy 4th of July, everyone!
The Holiday Fireworks Vendors are out and it’s the only day of the year to get some insanely cheap Red, White, and Blue sparklers! According to Wowhead, the price of these sparklers averages anywhere between 4g and 7g - a pretty good return if you ask me. They will take up quite a bit of valuable inventory space though.
Like the snowballs, you’ll probably have to wait a few months before they actually reach this price. But I bet you could start selling today and make a gold or two per sparkler if there’s no competition.
So if you have a few extra character slots, store some extra sparklers and ground flowers for a rainy day! By the time you remember you still have a stock pile, they might be worth selling.

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the best avenue for this, but I would like to suggest a topic if possible, regarding inflation in the lead up to (and launch of) the new expansion.
I picked up the game shortly before the BC expansion, but didn’t hit Outlands for quite a while after launch. So I’m fairly naive about the effects of the expansion.
Are there any readers who recalled the first few weeks of BC, in an economic-sense?

Definitely, Iktomi. As more information comes out of the beta, we’ll have a better idea of how to advise you and where to invest your gold.

If memory serves, we had a significant increase in prices for the mats needed to lvl jewelcrafting with TBC on my server. I’m trying to stockpile some herbs going by the reasoning that this time lots of people will be wanting to powerlvl inscripting and herbs have been announced as the primary mats for those (used for inks, which you then inscribe with). Might be worth checking out?
