It does seem like a lot of gold right now, but I believe Blizzard has said there will be more dailys added as well. Along with profession buffs and the estimated 5k you will be making while leveling, breaking 5 digit gold figures won’t be too hard. They have also stated they are staying with the gold currency, at least for now. When we discovered that the basic flying mount was going to cost 1,000g and the epic flying mount 5,000g, our jaws dropped. No one could fathom that much gold at the time. But, it turned out gold was much easier to earn in TBC, so it wasn't as expensive as we originally assumed. I'm guessing the value of one gold will drop 5-10x with the release of Wrath. Meaning 100g right now might be the equivalent of 500-1,000g in Wrath. Donny,
