Reputation items: Aldor vs Scryer

It seems that with the popularity of Quel’Danas dailies combined with the relative value of Aldor shoulder enchants and proc requirements on exalted neck pieces, the value of those respective reputation tokens has risen sharply. Indeed, killing blood elves on the new daily quests yields far more Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes than Marks of Sargeras and Fel Armaments. And thus, the laws of supply and demand take hold once again and gift us with an exploitable market opportunity.
So one way to get cash here would be to head on over to Legion Hold and kill every demon in sight. Here are a few other ways:
- Always choose Aldor reputation items as your reward from daily quests.
- Buy cheap Scryer reputation items in AH, trade at 1:1 ratio for Aldor equivalent, resell.
- Buy cheap Aldor reputation items in AH, trade at 1:2 or 1:3 ratio for Scryer equivalent, resell.

You can add the Deathforge, another good location to farm fel’s and marks with less competition.

Yup, Legion Hold is where I did the grind for Aldor rep to Exalted. Tons of easy-to-kill mobs, and no matter how fast you kill them, there’s more when you finish your circuit.
The wandering elite pit lord is a pushover, too, so there’s no need to panic if he aggros.

Or if you can AOE farm, death’s door is a nice spot. But it can be dicey if you don’t have AOE skills.

Yeah, I *always* keep a stack of scryer marks and arcane tomes in my bank so I can trade them 1:1 for Aldor as soon as I see someone requesting it in trade chat

I have an AH alt that trades exclusively in the Aldor/Scryer rep items. Currently on my server Aldor items are selling at 2.5 - 3 x the scryer items, but there’s still money to be made on both sides.
I usually buy out all the signets below 0.8g/ea in quantities of 20 or less. & relist at 10 for 9g or 1 for 1.20g
Same thing w/ the Marks, buy up anything under about 2g & relist at about a 20% profit.
I’m usually sitting on a stack of a couple hundred of each so I can jump on any trade chat offers for swaps. Paid for my epic mount on 2 toons w/ this and the mote/primal trade.
